JULES KOUNDE STATS LAST SEASON

FC Barcelona have successfully completed the signing of Sevilla Defender Jules Koundé.
The 23 year old has been on the radar of top clubs in Europe for the past two years. The saga for his signature got reduced to two which were Chelsea and Barça with the latter sealing the deal.

Chelsea had initially signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli and were on the verge of double swooping Nathan Ake plus Raheem Sterling from Manchester. However, City settled only for the sale of their winger. Interest in Paris Saint Germain Defender, Kimpempe is not over the line, with few spaces still left to be filled in the team’s defence department.

Barça on the other side, have gone to “north and south” to ensure funds meet the club’s purse. With the recent sale of few percentage of the Club’s TV rights, transfer of Christensen, Kessie, Raphinha, Lewandowski and the renewal of Dembele have been formed. Now Kounde is also a done deal. Talks are all over that the club is risking too much to handle. Barça’s transfer window may not be closed yet as the interest for Chelsea’s captain azplicueta is still on a verge of completion.
